About the role
The Pembina Trails School Division is seeking a dedicated full‑time (1.0 FTE) teacher for a permanent position at Charleswood School, starting 8 September 2026. This role is for a certified 5th‑year teacher who will contribute to a supportive, inclusive learning environment.
Key responsibilities
- Plan, deliver, and assess curriculum for the designated grade level.
- Create engaging, student‑centred learning experiences.
- Collaborate with colleagues, families, and community partners to support student success.
- Maintain accurate records and comply with school policies and provincial regulations.
- Participate in professional development and school improvement initiatives.
Required profile
- Valid Manitoba Permanent Teaching Certificate.
- Completion of Commit 2 Kids or Respect in Schools training.
- Commitment to equity, diversity, and inclusion.
- Ability to work effectively with diverse learners and families.
Required skills
- Strong classroom management and instructional planning.
- Effective communication in both French and English.
