About the role

The Pembina Trails School Division is seeking a dedicated full‑time (1.0 FTE) teacher for a permanent position at Charleswood School, starting 8 September 2026. This role is for a certified 5th‑year teacher who will contribute to a supportive, inclusive learning environment.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, deliver, and assess curriculum for the designated grade level.
• Create engaging, student‑centred learning experiences.
• Collaborate with colleagues, families, and community partners to support student success.
• Maintain accurate records and comply with school policies and provincial regulations.
• Participate in professional development and school improvement initiatives.

Required profile

• Valid Manitoba Permanent Teaching Certificate.
• Completion of Commit 2 Kids or Respect in Schools training.
• Commitment to equity, diversity, and inclusion.
• Ability to work effectively with diverse learners and families.

Required skills

• Strong classroom management and instructional planning.
• Effective communication in both French and English.
