Enrolment Services Advisor – Student Support

About the role

The Enrolment Services Advisor is a highly visible specialist who supports a portfolio of 900‑1100 students throughout their university journey. Working within UBC’s Enrolment Services, the advisor provides professional guidance on financial aid, admissions, registration and related student services for both domestic and international learners.

Key responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive financial advising to undergraduate, graduate and professional students, including loans, bursaries, scholarships and emergency funding.
• Guide students through admission, registration, tuition fee assessment, fee collection and transfer‑credit processes.
• Support prospective domestic students by responding to inquiries and assisting with recruitment and admissions activities.
• Participate in internal and external committees, working groups and strategic partnerships to improve enrolment services.

Required profile

• In‑depth knowledge of university registrarial policies, financial‑aid regulations and student‑record systems.
• Strong judgment to resolve complex, cross‑functional student issues and to make strategic recommendations.
• Excellent communication and relationship‑building skills with academic, student‑affairs and external agencies.
