Engagement Analyst

About the role

The Engagement Analyst supports University Advancement by turning large, multi‑source data sets into strategic insights that guide mass solicitation, alumni engagement and communication campaigns. Reporting to the Senior Director, Engagement Analytics & Annual Giving, the role blends data modelling, visualization and KPI development to optimize fundraising and volunteer initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Design and maintain data models, visualizations and dashboards for lead generation, segmentation and campaign performance.
• Conduct statistical and predictive modelling, data mining and forecasting to identify giving trends and donor behaviours.
• Collaborate with Information Management, Annual Giving, Alumni Relations and Communications to align analytics with strategic priorities.
• Ensure data integrity, investigate anomalies and uphold reporting standards across units.
• Produce executive summaries and presentations on analytics findings, KPIs and emerging engagement trends.

Required profile

• Previous business intelligence or analytics experience in non‑profit fundraising, marketing analytics or customer insights.
• Ability to translate senior‑level business needs into actionable data requirements and reports.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English (level 3/4).
• Knowledge of French is an asset.
