Email Developer

About the role

The Email Developer will design, code, and launch client‑facing email campaigns for a major Canadian financial institution using Salesforce Marketing Cloud (SFMC). This hybrid contract position involves creating responsive email templates, cloud pages, and Mobile Studio assets while ensuring brand compliance and accessibility.

Key responsibilities

• Build and deploy email campaigns in SFMC as part of Business‑as‑Usual activities.
• Optimize existing templates and support marketing automation journeys across email, SMS, and digital channels.
• Code responsive emails, cloud pages, and Mobile Studio components using HTML/CSS.
• Integrate AMPscript for dynamic content and personalization.
• Set up data integration points to feed automation journeys.
• Perform rigorous QA/testing and troubleshoot rendering issues across devices and email clients.
• Stay current with email marketing trends and best practices.
• Manage multiple campaigns concurrently in a fast‑paced environment.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years of hands‑on experience developing email campaigns in Salesforce Marketing Cloud.
• Ability to work independently and collaborate with cross‑functional teams.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to brand and accessibility standards.
