EHS Associate – Vancouver/Delta

About the role
The Vancouver EHS Associate supports the implementation and ongoing management of PepsiCo’s Global Environmental, Health and Safety Management System (GEHSMS) at the Vancouver beverage manufacturing facility. You will guide site teams, ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, and help drive sustainability initiatives.
Key responsibilities
- Support development and implementation of the GEHSMS.
- Implement policies, procedures, work instructions and training to meet PepsiCo requirements.
- Conduct and support EHS risk assessments, identify key risks and implement controls.
- Facilitate execution, implementation and tracking of the EHS training plan.
- Assist in incident investigations, root‑cause analysis and corrective action development.
- Collect, analyse and communicate incident trend reports for key EHS metrics.
- Provide support to site Safety Committees and assist with internal/external EHS audits.
- Interface with external regulatory agencies and internal business partners as required.
- Develop and distribute EHS communications and maintain records to demonstrate compliance.
- Lead site‑level environmental program execution and ensure regulatory permits and reporting are up to date.
- Support the location in achieving annual EHS objectives and participate in special projects.
