Earthworks Laborer

About the role

Professional Excavators is looking for a reliable Earthworks Laborer to join our excavation team. You will work on a variety of construction sites, helping to move earth and maintain a safe, organized work environment. This position offers hands‑on experience in the construction and earth‑moving sector.

Key responsibilities

• Assist with excavation of earth and materials across diverse projects.
• Operate basic hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently.
• Follow instructions from site supervisors and foremen to complete tasks accurately.
• Perform site clean‑up and keep the work area tidy throughout the project.
• Load and unload materials, equipment, and tools as needed.
• Help set up and dismantle temporary structures such as formwork and safety barriers.
• Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous laborer experience in construction or excavation is preferred.
• Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physically demanding tasks.
• Strong understanding of construction site safety procedures.
• Willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
• Commitment to punctuality, reliability, and a strong work ethic.
