About the role

Key responsibilities

• Plan, implement, and evaluate age‑appropriate curricula that promote learning through play, nature‑based activities, and sensory exploration.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and inclusive classroom environment in compliance with licensing regulations.
• Observe and document children’s development, providing feedback to families and staff.
• Collaborate with colleagues, faculty, and staff to integrate community resources and support cultural diversity.
• Respond to emergencies and administer first aid as needed.

Required profile

• Energetic, welcoming, and able to build meaningful relationships with children and families.
• Comfortable working both independently and as part of a collaborative team.
• Organised, patient, and able to exercise sound judgment in all situations.
• Creative problem‑solver who approaches challenges positively.
• Qualified Early Childhood Educator with a current BC ECE certification, current Emergency Child Care First Aid certification, and a clear Criminal Record Check.
