Learning & Development Specialist

About the role

As a Learning & Development Specialist you will design and deliver impactful training experiences that empower our brokerage network to excel in a dynamic property & casualty insurance environment.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and deliver training programs on P&C insurance products, coverages, policy wordings, workflows and regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate with leadership, HR and subject‑matter experts to identify skill gaps and create targeted learning solutions.
• Facilitate in‑person, virtual and blended learning sessions for new hires and experienced professionals.
• Develop onboarding programs, role‑specific training plans and maintain training materials, job aids and learning paths.
• Evaluate training effectiveness and recommend enhancements based on feedback and performance metrics.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of experience in learning and development, training or instructional design.
• Demonstrated experience delivering training within a P&C insurance brokerage or insurance environment.
• Strong facilitation, presentation and instructional design abilities.
• Excellent communication, organizational and time‑management skills.
• Willingness to travel to brokerage locations as needed.
