Part‑Time Program Instructor (7 Vacancies)

About the role

The City of Woodstock is hiring seven part‑time program instructors to lead a variety of recreation programs and birthday party packages for community members of all ages.

Key responsibilities

• Instruct recreation programs such as sports, art, dance, music, and educational activities.
• Deliver themed birthday party packages (e.g., sport, nerf, dance).
• Supervise participants, follow and adapt lesson plans, and track attendance, incidents, and accidents.
• Apply facility policies, emergency procedures, and safety supervision basics.
• Work with minimal supervision and refer complex issues to full‑time staff or supervisors.

Required profile

• Minimum Grade 10 education.
• Standard First Aid and CPR‑C certification.
• Knowledge of the HIGH FIVE Principles of Healthy Child Development.
• Valid Class 2 driver’s licence and reliable vehicle (preferred).
• Experience teaching the specific programs for which you are hired.
