Drywall Installer

About the role

NBK Construction Ltd. is seeking a skilled Drywall Installer to join our team in Victoria, BC. You will work on a variety of interior and exterior projects, ensuring high‑quality finishes and adherence to safety standards.

Key responsibilities

• Clean and prepare surfaces before installation.
• Cut and install metal corner beads to protect exterior corners.
• Fabricate and install suspended metal ceiling grids and place panels for acoustical and coffered ceilings.
• Apply joint compound using trowels and broad knives, filling joints, nail indentations, holes and cracks.
• Measure, cut, fit and install drywall sheets, then smooth excess compound and allow it to dry.
• Use a taping machine to embed tape over joints.
• Install corner beads and wire mesh around beams for plaster application.
• Install metal stud framing and furring for interior walls and ceilings using hand and power tools, working at heights on scaffolding or swing stages.

Required profile

• Secondary school graduation or equivalent experience.
• 1 to less than 2 years of drywall installation experience.
• Availability for shift, on‑call work and to start on the posted date.
• Proficiency in English (or French if required).
