About the role

Manitoulin Transport, part of the Manitoulin Group of Companies, is hiring a dock worker for night shifts. The company operates an extensive transportation network across North America and relies on experienced drivers to deliver freight on time. The night shift runs Tuesday to Saturday, 12:00am to 9:00am.

Key responsibilities

Loading and unloading inbound and outbound trailers
Distributing freight to P&D drivers
Documenting overages, shortages and damages
Reweighing and cubing freight
Moving and sorting freight safely and keeping claims free
Keeping the yard and warehouse clean
Heavy lifting required

Required profile

Valid driver's licence
Able to work well with others and take direction
Able to think on your feet in a fast-paced environment and solve problems as they arise
Follows Health & Safety and company policies

Required skills

Forklift experience
