Dispatcher – Service Department

About the role

The Dispatcher ensures work is dispatched promptly and efficiently to service technicians, maintaining optimal shop productivity.

Key responsibilities

• Dispatch work to service technicians to maximize production and efficiency.
• Coordinate workflow through the detail department.
• Open, dispatch, and invoice new car PDI work orders.
• Assist Service Advisors with invoicing and handle customer inquiries.
• Write repair orders based on vehicle concerns.
• Support dealership CSI and customer satisfaction initiatives.

Required profile

• Valid British Columbia driver’s license with a clean record.
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment and meet deadlines.
• Basic technical knowledge of vehicles for proper job allocation.
• Computer literacy for using equipment maintenance systems.

Required skills

• Experience with Reynolds and Reynolds software.
• Basic vehicle technical knowledge.
