Logistics Supervisor

About the role

The Logistics Supervisor will lead the planning, coordination and execution of all logistics activities for our food processing and retail distribution operations. Reporting to senior management, you will ensure efficient movement of goods, maintain inventory accuracy and support continuous improvement across the supply chain.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate activities with other work units or departments to ensure smooth operations.
• Prepare and submit regular logistics and performance reports.
• Arrange maintenance and repair work for equipment and facilities.
• Resolve operational problems, provide technical advice and recommend productivity improvements.
• Organise staff training and oversee work assignments for a small team.
• Requisition, order and manage materials, equipment and supplies.
• Monitor delivery schedules and establish work procedures.
• Arrange shipping, receiving and storage, and record stock using inventory systems.
• Plan, organise and oversee the overall logistics function of the organisation.

Required profile

• Accurate and detail‑oriented.
• Strong interpersonal and oral communication skills.
• Flexible, initiative‑driven and highly organised.
• Reliable team player with at least 3‑5 years of logistics experience.
