About the role
We are seeking a compassionate Disability Support Worker to provide personal care and support to clients in their homes in Vancouver, BC. The role involves assisting individuals with disabilities in daily activities, ensuring their safety, comfort, and well‑being.
Key responsibilities
- Administer bedside and personal care, including bathing, hygiene, and dressing.
- Assist with medication administration and monitor health status.
- Support clients with feeding, meal preparation, and planning therapeutic diets.
- Encourage regular exercise such as walking and assist with mobility.
- Perform light housekeeping, laundry, and clothing repairs.
- Provide companionship, shopping for food and household supplies, and overall personal support.
Required profile
- Punctuality and reliability.
- Strong interpersonal and teamwork skills.
- Flexibility, initiative, and good judgement.
- Patience, honesty, and a client‑focused attitude.
Required skills
- CPR Certificate.
- First Aid Certificate.
