Director (Program Manager), Cyber Program & Transformation

About the role

EQ Bank is looking for a Director (Program Manager) for its cyber program and transformation in Toronto. The role oversees the delivery of cyber security outcomes and drives enterprise-wide change to meet the organization's cyber security strategic objectives, including planning, resource organization, governance, monitoring, communication and escalation of the cyber security roadmap.

Key responsibilities

• Facilitate and support strategic planning for the cyber security program, including priorities, strategy and roadmap
• Develop budget and financial planning documents and facilitate their approval
• Oversee assignment of delivery leads or project managers and ensure proper project governance
• Plan, forecast and budget for the cyber security program
• Monitor program execution and delivery
• Lead complex, enterprise-wide cyber initiatives and provide executive reporting
• Negotiate with technology and business leaders to secure support and resources
• Escalate challenges to program success promptly
• Coach delivery leads and project managers in areas such as financial planning and change management
• Measure, monitor and report on benefit realization

Required profile

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Business Administration or a related field
• 10+ years of experience in IT/Cyber, with at least 5 years leading enterprise programs
• Proven track record leading cyber transformation or digital modernization programs
• Good understanding of accounting and financial management, and of benefit realization measurement techniques

Required skills

• Enterprise architecture, cloud platforms and security frameworks
• Certifications such as CISSP, CISM, PMP or TOGAF are a plus
• Strong communication, leadership, stakeholder management, documentation and presentation skills
• Strong organizational skills and ability to meet tight deadlines
