Director, Pharmacy Excellence

About the role

Murphy’s Pharmacies is seeking a Director of Pharmacy Excellence to lead and elevate pharmacy operations across its Atlantic Canada network. This hands‑on leader will work directly with pharmacy teams to embed innovative practices and ensure outstanding patient care.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise daily pharmacy operations, ensuring efficiency, compliance with company standards, and achievement of KPIs.
• Conduct performance evaluations of each pharmacy, develop action plans, and address gaps to drive operational excellence.
• Coach and mentor pharmacy managers and pharmacists, fostering professional growth and high‑performing teams.
• Guide adoption of new strategic initiatives, overseeing implementation and measuring outcomes.
• Identify skill gaps, coordinate training, and manage an internal champion program to support program rollouts.

Required profile

• B.Sc. Pharmacy or Pharm.D. and a current license in good standing in Prince Edward Island.
• Minimum three years of pharmacy management experience, with multi‑unit experience considered an asset.
• Demonstrated leadership, communication, and organizational abilities, especially in change‑management contexts.
