About the role
The Canadian Football League is seeking a Director, People and Culture to shape an inclusive, high‑performing workplace. Reporting to senior leadership, this role translates the league’s strategic objectives into actionable HR initiatives that attract, develop and retain top talent across the organization, operating in a hybrid model based in Toronto and championing the league’s values of unity, diversity and inclusion.
Key responsibilities
- Partner with the senior leadership team to design and execute an HR plan aligned with the league’s people strategy, budget and priorities.
- Interpret business goals and market conditions to create meaningful people programs, processes and policies.
- Provide consultation and advice to managers and employees on all stages of the employee lifecycle, from recruitment through off‑boarding.
- Maintain consistency and alignment of HR solutions across the league office to meet evolving business needs.
- Collaborate with leadership to own all facets of HR, including talent acquisition, performance management, learning and development, compensation, and employee engagement.
