About the role
As a member of the Trois‑Rivières factory management team, you will lead a group of HR professionals and be responsible for providing comprehensive support on labor relations, collective bargaining, community outreach, hiring, training, compensation and employee requests. This position plays a pivotal role in ensuring smooth operations within a unionized manufacturing environment.
Key responsibilities
- Manage the collective bargaining agreement, including grievances, negotiations and labor‑relations activities.
- Serve as the first point of contact for unionized and non‑unionized employee requests, ensuring timely follow‑up and resolution.
- Develop and execute a community‑relations strategy to strengthen ties with local colleges, universities and events, promoting Siemens Energy’s brand.
- Create and maintain procedures for hiring, onboarding, performance management, termination, retention, succession planning, benefits and health‑and‑safety cases.
- Coordinate with corporate HR, payroll and benefits teams for unionized employee administration.
- Participate actively in factory committees and support the broader management team.
Required profile
- A degree in Human Resources, Labor Relations, Industrial Relations, Administration or a related field.
- 5 to 10 years of experience in a unionized manufacturing environment.
- Proven leadership ability with experience in coaching, people development and team management.
- Strong interpersonal and problem‑solving skills.
- Fluency in both French and English.
