Director of Strategy

About the role

The Embody Lab is seeking a Director of Strategy to own and execute its revenue‑growth strategy. Reporting directly to the founder, you will set strategic direction, define priorities, and partner with the Head of Marketing to translate vision into market‑facing initiatives. This is a full‑time, remote independent‑contractor position based in Canada.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and own the revenue‑growth strategy and the actionable plan that delivers it.
• Analyze market dynamics, identify opportunities, and define positioning, packaging, and pricing for the program portfolio.
• Design an experimentation roadmap, prioritize bets, and establish success metrics for the marketing team.
• Identify and launch new revenue lines, channels, and strategic partnerships.
• Set the overall direction for the marketing function and align it with company goals and delivery capacity.
• Lead regular strategy reviews with the founder and translate company objectives into a clear marketing roadmap.

Required profile

• Proven record of owning growth strategy and delivering revenue results in a scaling organization.
• Strong judgment in positioning, packaging, and pricing for trauma, somatic, and healing audiences.
• Experience designing experimentation frameworks and interpreting results with discipline.
• Demonstrated ability to open and manage partnerships and new revenue streams.
• Comfort directing an execution team while remaining hands‑on.
• Based in Canada and eligible to work as an independent contractor.
• Genuine interest in the fields of trauma, the body, and healing.
