Director of Marketing (Global)

About the role

ApprovalMax, a B2B SaaS platform that automates approval workflows for finance and accounting teams, is hiring a Director of Marketing (Global) based in Toronto with a hybrid arrangement. The role owns acquisition strategy end to end, from channel mix and budget allocation to campaign execution, and is measured on pipeline, trial volume, conversion to paid and CAC efficiency across regions.

Key responsibilities

• Own global acquisition strategy for AMER, EMEA and APAC, delivering qualified trials, pipeline and revenue growth
• Drive performance across the funnel from demand generation through trial starts and trial-to-paid conversion, with accountability for CAC, payback and conversion
• Manage the global marketing budget and channel mix, and establish forecasting, reporting and a regular cadence of acquisition KPIs
• Lead, develop and hold accountable a globally distributed marketing team
• Shape brand, positioning, messaging and visual identity
• Partner with Product, Sales and RevOps on product launches, go-to-market strategy and sales enablement
• Run integrated campaigns across performance marketing, content, SEO/SEM, email, paid digital, social, webinars and events
• Develop marketing initiatives with partners and within the accounting and finance ecosystem

Required profile

• Proven US acquisition marketing experience (non-negotiable)
• Demonstrated success managing a remote, distributed marketing team
• Track record marketing a low-ACV, high-volume product
• Marketing Director or equivalent senior leadership role, ideally in a high-growth B2B SaaS environment
• Nice to have: FinTech experience or experience marketing to finance and accounting audiences

• Broad expertise across digital marketing, content, social media and integrated campaign strategy
• Brand strategy and product marketing, including positioning, messaging and go-to-market
• Strong analytical and commercial mindset, and excellent project management skills
