Director of International Sales

About the role

The Director of International Sales will lead global distributor expansion and commercial execution for a pioneering medical‑technology company specializing in magnetic compression anastomosis for minimally invasive procedures. Reporting to the CEO and CMO, this senior leader will shape market‑entry strategies across Europe, Latin America and Asia, driving clinical adoption and revenue growth.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement a global distributor sales strategy for up to 60 international markets.
• Identify, recruit, negotiate, onboard and train distributor partners, establishing clear KPIs and performance expectations.
• Collaborate with clinical leadership to support surgeon adoption, launch new procedures, and ensure repeat utilization.
• Facilitate KOL engagement and physician advocacy to accelerate market penetration.
• Provide sales enablement tools, training materials and tailored commercial messaging for each region.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree.
• Minimum 5 years of sales leadership experience in medical technology.
• Proven track record in distributor‑led sales models and international market development.
• Strong understanding of surgeon‑facing sales and minimally invasive surgery applications.
