About the role

Ruth & Naomi's Mission is seeking a strategic and collaborative Director of Finance & Corporate Services to join the Executive Leadership Team. This senior role partners with the Executive Director to shape organizational strategy, ensure financial stewardship, and support operational infrastructure for continued growth.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with the Executive Director on long‑term planning and organizational strategy.
• Provide strategic leadership and oversight of Finance and Operations teams.
• Lead budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, and financial planning.
• Develop financial systems and reporting to support informed decision‑making.
• Oversee audits, funder reporting, compliance, insurance, contracts, and risk management.
• Strengthen financial processes and corporate infrastructure to support growth.
• Build relationships with the Board, auditors, financial institutions, and external partners.
• Champion a collaborative, solutions‑focused culture and continuous improvement.

Required profile

• Senior leadership experience in finance, operations, or corporate services within a complex organization.
• Demonstrated experience in budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, and strategic financial planning.
• CPA, MBA, or equivalent senior leadership experience.
• Strong leadership, coaching, and team development abilities.
• Excellent communication skills to translate financial information into business insights.
• Experience in nonprofit or values‑driven organizations is an asset.
• Strategic mindset balancing long‑term vision with operational excellence.

What we offer

• Salary of $145,000 – $160,000 CAD per year, dependent on experience.
