Director of Commercial Services

About the role

The Director of Commercial Services will lead the Vancouver branch of Bosch Building Technologies North America, overseeing the Project Management Office, Design & Estimation, and Inside Sales functions. Reporting to the Regional Vice President, this role holds full financial accountability and drives the delivery of complex technology projects for a growing client base.

Key responsibilities

• Lead, manage and develop high‑performing teams across PMO, Design/Estimation and Inside Sales.
• Serve as the primary commercial liaison with clients, subcontractors and internal stakeholders.
• Collaborate with field, sales and engineering teams to ensure accurate project estimation and delivery.
• Maintain fiscal responsibility, generate revenue, control costs and act on budget variances.
• Implement change‑control procedures and oversee scope management.
• Track project progress, intervene on margin risks and ensure governance, communication and quality standards.
• Champion PMO processes, train project managers and coordinate with centralized Innovation Hubs.
• Ensure cyber‑security compliance with Bosch BT NA policies.
• Oversee bid and tender processes, manage high‑value vendor negotiations and mitigate financial or legal risks.
• Maintain client satisfaction, resolve complaints and collection issues, and drive Inside Sales performance.

Required profile

• Proven leadership experience in commercial services, project management or related fields.
• Strong financial acumen with a track record of revenue generation and cost containment.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder‑management skills.
• Ability to work strategically with senior leadership and cross‑functional teams.
