Digital Workplace Technical Analyst Co-op (Fall 2026)

About the role

The British Columbia Investment Management Corporation is looking for a motivated Digital Workplace Technical Analyst co‑op to join its Technology team for the Fall 2026 term (September‑December). You will support the rollout of Microsoft 365 cloud services and help employees adopt new digital productivity tools.

Key responsibilities

• Create video tutorials to guide employees in using technology.
• Develop automations and scripts using Azure DevOps.
• Write user guides and communications for new products and services.
• Evaluate new software and features to identify business opportunities.
• Support change‑management activities across departments.
• Research innovative ways to add value with the Microsoft 365 platform.
• Collect, organize, and analyse issues to recommend solutions.
• Assist business users in adopting digital workplace tools.
• Participate in technology modernization projects impacting up to 1,000 users.
• Perform ad‑hoc tasks as assigned by the team.

Required profile

• Strong interest in emerging technologies and a willingness to learn.
• Ability to quickly create scripts and automations across multiple platforms.
• Capability to translate complex technical concepts into clear, user‑friendly instructions.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
