DevOps Engineer – Semiconductor

About the role

The DevOps Engineer will design, automate, and maintain cloud‑based infrastructure that supports critical manufacturing and enterprise applications in the semiconductor sector. You will work closely with development teams to ensure reliable, secure, and scalable delivery of Java and .NET services.

Key responsibilities

• Build and operate full‑stack environments, including microservices, databases, and production infrastructure on AWS and Azure.
• Create IaC scripts and templates (Terraform, CloudFormation) to provision resources.
• Assist teams in containerizing applications and orchestrating them with Kubernetes or Docker Swarm.
• Analyse and improve operational processes, monitoring, and support workflows.
• Generate operational, trend, and statistical reports for performance insight.
• Develop, test, and maintain disaster‑recovery solutions.
• Collaborate with vendors and internal teams on software, hardware, and tooling decisions.
• Support security, compliance, and audit activities for the infrastructure.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering or equivalent experience.
• 4+ years of IT experience with at least 1 year focused on AWS in a team environment.
• Strong Linux/Unix administration background.
• Proven experience with container technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Hands‑on with automation/configuration tools (Puppet, Chef, Ansible).
