DevOps Engineer – Remote Contract (up to $70/hr)

About the role

We are looking for a remote DevOps Engineer to design, deploy and manage resilient, secure and scalable cloud infrastructure. The role is contract‑based with flexible weekly hours and competitive hourly rates.

Key responsibilities

• Design, deploy and maintain infrastructure on AWS, Azure, GCP and Digital Ocean.
• Build and optimise CI/CD pipelines for rapid, reliable releases.
• Containerise applications with Docker and orchestrate clusters using Kubernetes.
• Automate provisioning and configuration with Terraform and Ansible.
• Monitor system health and performance using Prometheus, Grafana and centralised logging.
• Implement robust access control, IAM policies and secrets‑management solutions.

Required profile

• Strong experience in Linux system administration and core networking concepts.
• Hands‑on experience with major cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP, Digital Ocean).
• Proficiency in Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform and Infrastructure‑as‑Code practices.
• Knowledge of IAM principles, secrets management and security best practices.
• Experience designing and improving CI/CD pipelines.
