Remote Software Developer (Contract)

About the role

We are seeking a skilled Software Developer to join our distributed team on a contract basis. You will work remotely to build and optimise core components that support AI model training and evaluation pipelines.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and optimise robust software modules for AI and machine learning workflows.
• Collaborate with data scientists and engineers to deliver scalable, maintainable code.
• Translate project requirements into technical solutions aligned with objectives.
• Conduct code reviews, provide feedback, and enforce best‑practice standards.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve complex issues throughout the development lifecycle.
• Document codebases, processes, and methodologies for team transparency.

Required profile

• Proven software development experience with at least one modern language (e.g., Python, Java, C++).
• Hands‑on experience building solutions for AI, machine learning, or data‑driven applications.
• Effective remote‑team collaboration and strong written/verbal communication.
• Excellent problem‑solving abilities and a proactive attitude.
