Web Software Developer (React & TypeScript)

About the role

Slice is looking for an experienced Web Software Developer to join its growing Front‑End team. You will help build world‑class web products that empower small‑business owners, primarily using React and TypeScript.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain high‑quality front‑end features for customer‑facing applications.
• Lead technical problem‑solving and guide architectural decisions across the team.
• Collaborate with technical leads and the Development Manager to support strategic initiatives.
• Troubleshoot complex production issues and ensure robust test coverage.
• Mentor and coach peers, sharing knowledge and best practices.

Required profile

• 3+ years of hands‑on experience building applications with React.
• 3+ years of professional experience using TypeScript.
• Strong debugging skills and ability to resolve subtle production problems.
• Proven track record delivering accessible, performant, and SEO‑friendly web experiences.
• Understanding of the full tech stack and ability to contribute to API design and system architecture.
