DevOps Engineer

About the role

Optable is seeking a motivated DevOps Engineer to join its fast‑growing Montreal team. In this hybrid, full‑time position you will design, build and operate cloud infrastructure that powers a privacy‑first advertising platform, collaborating closely with developers and product owners.

Key responsibilities

• Design, implement and maintain infrastructure on Google Cloud Platform or Amazon Web Services.
• Deploy, scale and troubleshoot containerised applications using Kubernetes and Helm charts.
• Develop and manage infrastructure as code with Terraform.
• Write automation tools and utilities in Golang to improve operational efficiency.
• Monitor system performance, respond to incidents and ensure high availability.
• Support security best practices and help maintain compliance standards.
• Create and keep up‑to‑date documentation, runbooks and operational procedures.

Required profile

• At least 3 years of hands‑on experience in DevOps, Site Reliability or related infrastructure roles.
• Strong problem‑solving abilities and comfort working in a fast‑paced startup environment.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Self‑starter attitude with a results‑oriented mindset.

• Golang programming for automation
