Cybersecurity Incident Response Lead

About the role

The Cybersecurity Incident Response Lead will head the bank’s Security Operations strategy, overseeing incident response and threat intelligence across the Americas. This senior position combines technical depth with strategic leadership to protect critical assets and ensure regulatory compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute a comprehensive security operations strategy aligned with business objectives and risk appetite.
• Lead the Americas Cyber Security Incident Response Team (CSIRT) to monitor, detect, and respond to threats promptly.
• Design, maintain, and test incident response plans and playbooks, coordinating rapid recovery from security events.
• Establish and run a threat intelligence program to anticipate emerging threats.
• Evaluate, implement, and optimize security processes and technologies in collaboration with IT and engineering teams.
• Ensure compliance with cyber‑risk regulations such as FFIEC and represent the bank during regulatory examinations.

Required profile

• Proven senior leadership experience in cybersecurity incident response or security operations.
• Strong understanding of banking and financial regulatory requirements.
• Excellent communication skills to advise executive leadership and board members.
• Strategic mindset with the ability to drive cross‑functional collaboration.
