DevOps Engineer – Cloud Infrastructure & Platform Optimization

About the role

We are looking for a DevOps Engineer to join our DevOps team at MaintainX. The role sits at the intersection of infrastructure, deployment, reliability, and developer enablement, working closely with product engineering teams to build and improve the systems that power our AI‑powered maintenance platform.

Key responsibilities

• Build, maintain, and evolve cloud infrastructure on AWS using Terraform.
• Design, implement, and improve CI/CD pipelines with GitHub Actions.
• Manage and optimize multi‑region Kubernetes clusters.
• Maintain and enhance Helm charts and deployment workflows.
• Strengthen observability through monitoring, logging, and alerting, and define clear alert ownership.
• Improve infrastructure security, including image scanning, policies, networking, and firewall configuration.
• Collaborate with product engineering teams to enable independent service deployment.
• Participate in an on‑call rotation during business hours.

Required profile

• 3+ years of experience in DevOps, cloud infrastructure, or software engineering.
• Strong experience with AWS (or comparable cloud platforms such as Azure or GCP).
• Hands‑on experience with Kubernetes in production environments.
• Proven ability to build and maintain CI/CD pipelines and manage deployments.
