Designer II – Architecture & Technology

About the role

Perkins & Will is seeking a Designer II to contribute to the full building design process across public, corporate, and transit projects. The role blends architectural design, technical documentation, and visual communication while supporting sustainability goals.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare preliminary design studies, schematic and design development drawings.
• Create client presentation materials such as sketches, renderings, models, and graphics.
• Develop contract documents, including details, sections, elevations, and schedules.
• Produce amendments, addenda, and bulletins as required.
• Perform site analysis, area calculations, and field measurements.
• Follow the Perkins & Will Project Delivery Manual and ensure work accuracy.

Required profile

• Professional degree in Architecture or Architectural Technology.
• 4+ years of architectural experience, with at least 2 years using Revit.
• Experience in contract administration and all project phases.
• Intermediate knowledge of design and construction documentation production.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills and collaborative work ethic.
