About the role

Metro is looking for a friendly and creative Part‑Time Floral Clerk to join our vibrant flower department in Ottawa. You will be the face of our floral section, helping customers select fresh‑cut arrangements and seasonal plants while showcasing your design flair.

Key responsibilities

• Create and maintain attractive floral displays and arrangements.
• Assist customers with product selection, offering advice on care and design.
• Maintain cleanliness, organization, and inventory of the floral area.
• Process sales transactions and handle cash registers accurately.
• Work flexible shifts, including days, evenings, and weekends.

Required profile

• Certificate in Floral Design or a related field.
• Customer‑service orientation with strong communication skills.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift floral stock.
• Willingness to work varied schedules, including nights and weekends.
