Design Engineer – Product Development

About the role

We are looking for a Design Engineer to lead the creation of new products and the improvement of existing ones. The role combines engineering expertise with a strong eye for detail to deliver innovative, safe, and compliant solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and design new products, components, and systems that meet performance, safety, and regulatory standards.
• Create detailed technical drawings and specifications using CAD software.
• Collaborate with engineering, production, and other stakeholders to refine designs and solve technical challenges.
• Conduct feasibility studies and prototype testing to validate concepts.
• Oversee manufacturing processes to ensure accurate and efficient production of designs.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Design, or a related field.
• 5‑7 years of proven experience as a Design Engineer or in a similar role.
• Professional engineering certification is an asset.

Required skills

• Proficiency with CAD software such as SolidWorks and AutoCAD.
• Experience using simulation and analysis tools.
• Knowledge of manufacturing processes and material selection.
• Strong verbal and written communication abilities.
