Design Engineer – Penstock & Gates (Hydro)

About the role

Join ANDRITZ Hydro as a Design Engineer focused on penstock and gate systems for hydroelectric projects. This permanent position offers a 12‑month integration program with rotations in design, site installation, and project integration.

Key responsibilities

• Develop detailed designs for penstock and gate components.
• Support site installation and integration activities.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams across eight countries.
• Participate in large‑scale hydroelectric projects and contribute to engineering solutions.
• Provide technical input during construction and commissioning phases.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering (or Bachelor’s + Master’s).
• Minimum three years of engineering experience.
• Strong interest in innovation, large‑scale projects, and hydroelectric energy.
• Legal authorization to work in Canada.
