About the role
Join Dong Phuong distributor as a Delivery Driver, handling local parcel and message deliveries throughout Edmonton. You will operate company‑provided vehicles, interact with customers, and ensure timely, accurate deliveries.
Key responsibilities
- Deliver and pick up parcels, messages and other items by hand.
- Operate vans and light trucks, following maps and trip‑planning aids.
- Maintain accurate records of items received, delivered, mileage, fuel costs and any issues.
- Load, unload, prepare, package and restock goods, handling loads up to 45 kg (100 lb).
- Perform pre‑trip, en‑route and post‑trip vehicle inspections and report to central dispatch.
- Complete administrative tasks such as payment processing and documentation.
Required profile
- Efficient interpersonal and customer‑service skills.
- Flexibility, good judgement and strong organization.
- Reliability and ability to work as part of a team.
- Physical capability to handle heavy loads in a fast‑paced environment.
- Valid Class 1/1F/A licence with Air‑Brakes endorsement.
