Damage Insurance Agent (Auto & Home)

About the role

iA Financial Group is hiring a Damage Insurance Agent (auto and home) for individuals in the province of Quebec. The agent is the first point of contact for clients, helping them understand and secure the best coverage and services for their needs. The company offers an 8-week paid training program for those who do not yet hold an AMF damage insurance licence.

Key responsibilities

• Build personalized relationships with clients and create a climate of trust that supports the sale of auto and home insurance policies
• Follow the company's underwriting policies
• Help increase client retention
• Provide high-quality advisory service focused on clients' real needs
• Collaborate with colleagues in a dynamic and motivating environment

Required profile

• High school diploma with 3 years of work experience, OR a college diploma (or higher), OR recognition of a foreign diploma (MIFI or WES)
• Enjoys helping people, communicates clearly with empathy and professionalism, and has strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Adaptable, eager to learn, interested in sales and enjoys teamwork
• Advanced French, spoken and written, to communicate regularly with French-speaking clients and colleagues across Canada
