D365 F&O Functional Analyst

About the role

The D365 F&O Functional Analyst will support the day‑to‑day operation, configuration and ongoing maintenance of WhiteWater's Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations platform. This on‑site role works closely with the IT Analytics & Reporting manager and the development team to ensure a stable, secure, and business‑aligned ERP environment.

Key responsibilities

• Administer D365 F&O security, role management, licensing and monitor environment health.
• Coordinate bi‑annual Microsoft release‑wave upgrades, including scheduling, regression testing and validation.
• Configure and support core modules such as finance, procurement, inventory, warehouse, production control and project management.
• Manage the support ticket queue and enforce master data governance standards.
• Deliver enhancement projects from requirements gathering through go‑live, working alongside the F&O developer.
• Maintain and extend Power BI reports built on D365 data, creating new dashboards as needed.
• Provide user training, onboarding and clear status updates to stakeholders.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of hands‑on experience with Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations in a functional analyst, administrator or support role.
• Proven experience in platform administration, including security, role management and licensing.
• Ability to gather, document and validate business requirements.
• Strong communication skills to translate business needs into platform configurations.
