Cybersecurity Specialist – Vancouver

Key responsibilities

• Confer with clients to identify requirements and document technical specifications.
• Design, develop and implement information systems business solutions.
• Assess physical and technical security risks to data, software and hardware.
• Develop policies, procedures and contingency plans to minimize the effects of security breaches.
• Conduct reviews to assess quality assurance practices, software products and information systems.
• Execute and document results of software application tests and telecommunications system tests.
• Provide ongoing support to clients after sale, including troubleshooting and advice.
• Develop and implement policies and procedures throughout the software development life cycle.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
• 5+ years of experience in cybersecurity or related IT roles.
• Ability to work independently in a fast‑paced environment, under pressure and tight deadlines.
• Strong attention to detail and capability to handle repetitive tasks.
