Cybersecurity Specialist (Remote)

About the role

We are looking for a skilled Cybersecurity Specialist to join our remote team on a short‑term contract. You will work asynchronously with domain experts to analyze security vulnerabilities, improve threat modeling, and support research workflows.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze and review content for security vulnerabilities and threat patterns.
• Craft, solve, and review complex cybersecurity problems with real‑world applicability.
• Support improvement of model reasoning around security threats and attack vectors.
• Collaborate with systems programming and cybersecurity experts.
• Contribute to classification and evaluation workflows related to security research.

Required profile

• Strong experience in low‑level programming languages such as C, C++, or Java.
• Deep understanding of cybersecurity concepts, web security, and attack vectors.
• Familiarity with vulnerability classification frameworks such as OWASP or CVEs.
• Excellent attention to detail, pattern‑recognition abilities, and clear written and verbal communication in English.
• Ability to pass an enhanced background check.

What we offer

• Hourly rate between $70 and $90.
