Customer Service Representative – Insurance

About the role

Join Manulife’s Operations team in Halifax as a Customer Service Representative. You will be the front‑line contact for clients, helping them navigate insurance products and resolve inquiries while contributing to a culture of service excellence.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver reliable, professional service to Manulife clients, meeting quality and productivity targets.
• Provide timely, first‑call resolution to inquiries, turning challenges into positive experiences.
• Maintain a cooperative tone with customers and coworkers, enhancing the brand’s market perception.
• Work both independently and collaboratively to resolve issues and meet service‑level agreements.
• Stay current on product, policy, and industry updates through ongoing training.
• Listen attentively, empathise under pressure, and follow privacy and transaction procedures.

Required profile

• Proven customer‑service experience; insurance background is a plus.
• Strong time‑management and ability to prioritize tasks.
• Team‑oriented with the capacity to perform under pressure.
• Proficient with computer systems and technology.
