Customer Sales and Service Representative

About the role

The Customer Sales and Service Representative (CSSR 2) supports UFA customers by guiding them through product selection, processing sales, and ensuring a high level of satisfaction. Reporting to the Sr. Store Manager, the role involves both in‑store and phone interactions and may include cross‑training in other store functions.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver best‑in‑class customer service in person and over the phone, handling CRM interactions with regular customers.
• Execute sales leads, process billings, accept payments, and maintain accurate cash balances.
• Perform opening and closing cash procedures, including paper flow and key‑holder duties as required.
• Assist with shipping, receiving, inventory maintenance, and cycle counts.
• Maintain clean, organized, and safe store, yard, and warehouse environments.
• Manage eCommerce orders: pick, pack, label, store, and balance daily order paperwork.
• Own assigned aisle or yard area to uphold merchandising and inventory standards.
• Support junior representatives with minor issues and contribute to special projects such as farm shows or trade fairs.

Required profile

• Grade 12 diploma.
• 3–5 years of related customer‑service or retail experience.
• Proven cash‑handling ability.
• Computer proficiency and prior experience with customer‑service processes.
