Customer Relationship Manager

About the role

Delmar International Inc., Canada’s largest independent logistics service provider, is seeking a Customer Relationship Manager to support the growth and retention of its client base. Reporting to the Department Manager, you will act as the primary point of contact for existing and prospective customers, ensuring high satisfaction through proactive communication and tailored solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain strong written and verbal communication with clients to address inquiries promptly.
• Identify client needs and provide insights, recommendations, and innovative solutions.
• Upsell and cross‑sell Delmar’s suite of logistics services, managing a dedicated book of business.
• Develop a thorough understanding of Delmar’s products, including ocean, air, ground, brokerage, and warehousing services.
• Support business development initiatives and contribute to client retention strategies.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years of sales or operations experience in a 3PL freight forwarding environment.
• Experience in ocean, air, ground, brokerage or warehousing is an asset.
• College degree in business or a related field; a bachelor’s degree is a plus.
• CIFFA certification is considered an asset.
• Willingness to travel locally as needed.
