About the role

The Manitoulin Group of Companies is looking for a Customer Master Maintenance Clerk to keep its AS/400 Customer Master database accurate and up to date. The database is a key pillar of the system and affects Billing Accuracy and Freight Delivery across all departments. The successful candidate ensures new accounts are created and existing accounts are changed in a timely way.

Key responsibilities

Create accounts for new customers from approved credit applications within 24 hours of receipt
Contact credit references when required so accounts can be created promptly
Communicate professionally with customers, both internally and externally
Complete changes for invoicing (AR Requests) in time for the statement run, such as email address changes
Handle "RUSH" requests appropriately
Provide back-up support for cash applications as required
Carry out additional duties as needed
