Customer Care Advisor (Hybrid) – Halifax

About the role

Scotiabank is seeking a Customer Care Advisor to join its Canadian Banking Contact Centre in Halifax. This hybrid position allows you to work both in‑office and remotely while delivering high‑quality service to banking customers.

Key responsibilities

• Handle inbound calls from customers and branch staff, providing product information and support.
• Identify customer banking needs and recommend tailored solutions using multiple internal systems.
• Resolve complaints, guide customers through troubleshooting, and assist with basic setup processes.
• Maintain accurate records of interactions and follow up as needed.

Required profile

• High school diploma or recognized equivalent.
• Passionate about customer service with prior experience in a customer‑focused role.
• Self‑directed, performance‑oriented, and eager to improve the customer experience.
• Comfortable communicating professionally over the phone and representing the Scotiabank brand.
