CRM Salesforce Developer

About the role

The University of British Columbia is seeking a CRM Salesforce Developer to design and implement application solutions on the Salesforce.com platform. This position plays a hands‑on technical role, delivering functional solutions that support campus‑wide systems and ensuring high availability of mission‑critical services.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deploy Salesforce.com solutions for complex university applications.
• Provide tier‑2 support, monitor applications, and resolve technical issues to maintain 24/7 system reliability.
• Document project architecture, implementation steps, and deployment procedures.
• Collaborate with senior programmer analysts, build engineers, business analysts, vendors, and quality‑assurance staff.
• Participate in testing and promotion of changes to the production environment.

Required profile

• Demonstrated experience delivering functional solutions on the Salesforce.com platform.
• Ability to work independently and lead technical design and implementation efforts.
• Strong problem‑analysis skills and a commitment to meeting service‑level expectations.
