Course Lecturer – Topics in International Development (INTD 397)

About the role
The Institute for the Study of International Development at McGill University seeks a qualified Course Lecturer to teach INTD 397: Topics in International Development. This short‑term teaching assignment runs from late August to early December 2026, delivering three credits to undergraduate students.
Key responsibilities
- Deliver weekly lectures on Mondays and Wednesdays (10:05 am‑11:25 am) in the SADB 1/12 classroom.
- Prepare and update course materials, including outlines and reading lists.
- Assess student performance through assignments, exams, and participation.
- Provide timely feedback and hold office hours for student support.
Required profile
- Master’s degree in a related discipline (PhD preferred).
- Demonstrated research and experience in international development topics such as conflict, migration, environment, governance, health, or climate change.
- Authorization to work in Canada and willingness to work in Quebec.
