About the role
The Desautels Faculty of Management is seeking a qualified Course Lecturer to teach the Fall 2026 offering of Social Context of Business (MGCR 460 005). The position runs from August 31 to December 4, 2026, with classes held twice weekly.
Key responsibilities
- Deliver lectures on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 14:35 to 15:55 in the Bronfman Building (Room 360).
- Prepare and update course materials, including slides, case studies, and reading lists.
- Assess student performance through assignments, exams, and class participation.
- Maintain office hours and provide academic support to enrolled students.
Required profile
- Master’s or PhD degree in a relevant field.
- Demonstrated teaching experience or relevant industry experience.
- Evidence of research publications or professional expertise related to business and society.

- Remuneration of $11,824.00 for the term.
- Three credit hours and a total of 39 class hours.
