Course Lecturer – Social Context of Business (Fall 2026)

About the role

The Desautels Faculty of Management at McGill University is seeking a Course Lecturer to teach the Fall 2026 offering of "Social Context of Business" (MGCR 460 002). This fixed‑term position runs from August 31 to December 4, 2026, delivering three credit hours across 39 class sessions.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver lectures on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 8:35 am to 9:55 am in the Bronfman Building.
• Prepare and update course materials, including slides, readings, and assessments.
• Facilitate classroom discussions and evaluate student performance.
• Maintain academic standards in line with the collective agreement and faculty policies.

Required profile

• Master’s or PhD degree in a relevant field.
• Demonstrated teaching experience or relevant industry experience, supported by research publications where applicable.
• Ability to engage a diverse student body and uphold equity and inclusion principles.

Required skills

• Effective oral and written communication in English.
• Proficiency in academic presentation tools.
